Sunrise/Sunset
Before and After School Care
The Sunrise and Sunset Programs are available to Morris School District K - 5 grade students.
The Sunset Program is available to Morris School District Pre-K students.
Registration for September will begin July 8th and
closes August 23, 2024
**Please note if you are unable to register during the registration period that program may be at capacity.
Please call the office for further assistance.
**Sunrise will be held at three schools only – NP and TJ will go to Woodland; Sussex will go to AV and AH
will go to Hillcrest, and all open at 7:00 AM. A light breakfast will be provided.
Students who do not attend Sunrise in their home schools will be bused from Sunrise in time for the start of
the school day. ***Latest drop-off at Sunrise is 8:20 AM to allow time for dismissal and busing. If you arrive later than 8:20 you will be required to bring your child to their home school for drop-off.
** Sunset programs are held at each elementary school, and close at 6:00 PM. Students are dismissed
directly to Sunset on their rostered days at dismissal. You can pick up any time after dismissal until 6:00 PM.
Please note that there is a late fee of $15.00 per 15 minute increment, per child, for pick-up after 6 PM.
**Our Sunset program at LLC opened November 1st 2023. This program closes at 5:30pm.

Sunrise Program
Sunrise starts at 7:00 am and continues until the start of school.
The program is held at the following locations:
Woodland School
( Woodland, Thomas Jefferson and Normandy Park Students)
Alfred Vail
(Alfred Vail and Sussex Students)
Hillcrest School
(Hillcrest and Alexander Hamilton Students)
Please Note:
Students are dropped off at the Sunrise sites and busing is provided to transport students to their respective schools.
The Sunrise program provides before the start of school time to enjoy various activities.
Sunset Program~ Elementary
The Sunset Program runs until 6pm and is held at each elementary school.
Students are dismissed directly from school to Sunset program.
Program begins with snack,
followed by supervised homework time.
The rest of the afternoon is filled with indoor and outdoor activity including arts, crafts, games, and other fun!
Sunset Program at LLC
Students are dismissed directly from school to the program.
LLC Program closes at 5:30pm. Please see the LLC Parent Handbook for LLC specific information.
